Nanny's Homestead - Pet Friendly Country Retreat!

Our mission is to provide every guest with the best experience possible. To ensure the quality of your visit, we kindly ask that you treat our home with respect and follow these house rules. Thank you for understanding and for helping us maintain the quality of our home for everyone! Accurate Reservations: Please ensure that all persons staying (including children/pets/service animals) are on the reservation. Additional charges will be incurred of $300 for EACH person NOT on the reservation and this can/will be verified. Additional guests who live locally may come visit you with prior permission. See more info below on additional guests. Only 1 pet is allowed for free. We do NOT allow more than 1 dog. If  additional dogs are brought to the property they will incur a $300 fee per dog and we will ask you to vacate the property without refund.  Early Check-Ins: Early check-ins may be possible with at least one weeks' notice prior to check in, but early check-ins cannot be guaranteed. Driveway Gate: Please, keep the gate closed after every entry and exit.  We’ve had curious farm animals from nearby pastures wander onto the property, and while they’re cute, they can be messy! Our cleaners will charge an additional fee if they need to clean up after pets or farm animals. Children: Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult at all times. They are not permitted to stay alone in the house or on the property. NOISE & QUIET HOURS   **Be mindful of noise and respectful of neighbors during quiet hours:  Monday–Friday: 9:30 PM–8:00 AM   Saturday & Sunday: 11:00 PM–9:00 AM   **Outdoor spaces and the fire pit can still be enjoyed quietly during these hours. A lot of the neighbors work graveyard shifts. PARKING: Please do NOT drive on the grass for any reason.    **If extra parking is needed, you may park alongside the house by the kayaks, but no further than the deck stairs.** This spot can usually fit two cars side by side. ADDITIONAL GUESTS:  **Family or friends in the area are welcome to visit with you WITH PRIOR APPROVAL!  **Your visitors CANNOT bring pets and CANNOT stay past midnight/overnight.  **Your visitors are not allowed to be left at the house alone. **You are responsible for any/all damages and the cost of repairs caused by your guests. PET/SERVICE ANIMAL POLICIES: **Furniture: Pets/service animals are not allowed on furniture (beds, couches, chairs, etc.). ** Cleanup: Please pick up after your dog. $100 fee will be charged for cleaning up after your dog. ** Doors: Do not leave doors open for pets to enter/exit at their leisure.  **All pets MUST be crated when left unattended at the house! SMOKING: **No Smoking Indoors: This includes vapes and e-cigarettes, etc.  **Please dispose of cigarette butts properly— do not leave them around the property or extinguish them on handrails, decks, walkways, or bricks. Additional cleaning fees will be charged if ANY cigarette butts are found. FIRE PIT USE **Fully extinguish the fire pit with the garden hose after use.  **Return and stack chairs to the side of the deck before checkout.  **Ensure the water is turned off. **NO BON FIRES ** We do not provide fire wood.  GENERAL GUIDELINES **Please don’t place hot pots/serving dishes etc directly on dining room table. Please place a trivet/hand towel under it to prevent scorch marks. **Do no remove grill/smoker from mat. **Once grills have cooled put covers back on after EACH USE. **Close dining set umbrella after each use. **Turn off lights and TVs in unused rooms. **No shoes on the furniture **Toilets: Flush only toilet paper and human waste.  **Do not flush feminine hygiene products, wipes, or paper towels—even if labeled as flushable. **Trash:   **Trash collection is early Tuesday morning (around 5 AM). Place garbage cans just outside the gate on the grass Monday night.   **Ensure all trash is bagged. Unbagged/loose trash in the garbage cans WILL incur extra cleaning fees. BEFORE CHECKOUT **Strip all used beds to the mattress and place bedding on the bedroom floor. **Place all used towels on the hall bathroom floor. ADDITIONAL NOTES: **No candles are allowed in the house. **If something breaks, please let us know right away rather than leaving it for the cleaners to discover. By booking this stay, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to these rules and to pay any/all fees incurred for breach of the house rules. You acknowledge and agree this property is a short-term/medium term rental only for the dates associated with your reservation and the property shall not be used to establish residency under any circumstances. Guests are prohibited from: •Using the property’s address to update or obtain a driver’s license, ID, or any form of official documentation. •Registering to vote using the property’s address. •Having mail or packages delivered to the property. (Short-term deliveries such as food or groceries are permitted.) •Claiming any tenant or residency rights under local, state, or federal laws. Any violation of these terms or house rules will result in immediate termination of the stay without refund.

Our guests have full access to the entire property! We want you to feel at home and enjoy all the amenities during your stay. From the spacious yard to the cozy fire pit, the playset for the kids, and every room inside, everything is yours to use and enjoy. We do ask that children (under age of 18) are supervised at all times, especially when using the swing set and outdoor play areas, to ensure their safety and your peace of mind. We’re thrilled to host you and your group of up to 6 guests! We understand that you may have friends or family in the area and would like to have them over during your stay. We’re happy to accommodate this, but we kindly ask that you reach out to us for permission first. Any guests that come to the property that are not on the reservation may not be left alone at the property, may not bring their pets, and cannot stay over night. Reservations must disclose all adults, children/infants and pets that are going to be staying at the house. Guests/pets that are NOT on the original reservation will be subject to an additional $300 per person/pet fee. Pets brought by additional visitors are not allowed. Guests are responsible for any damages/cost of repairs caused by their visitors. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation to ensure a comfortable experience for everyone.
